Stephen Avery

AVERY, STEPHEN age 61, died Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the University of Michigan Hospital. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. October 3, 2013 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Chaplin Hal Hughey officiating. Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a V.F.W. Memorial at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday. Stephen was born March 20, 1952 to parents Raymond and Eileen (Kelly) Avery. He worked at Genesee Towers as the Building Supervisor for Genesee Bank. Stephen was active in the V.V.A. #175, three times Past President of V.F.W. #3087 Men's Auxiliary. Surviving are wife Linda; children Jacob Avery, Edward (Jennifer) Avery; grandchildren Stephen, Hayden, Austin, Benjamin; parents Raymond and Eileen Kelly; brother Michael (Annette) Avery, Timothy (Kim) Avery; sister Catherine (Larry) Debrincat; several nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins. Stephen was preceded in death by step-son David. Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
