William J. Evans

William "Doc" J. Evans – age 76, passed away on July 31, 2020 in Waterford, Michigan. Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 3:00pm-4:00pm at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI. A private memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020. William was born on February 12, 1944 to the late Thomas and Cecelia Evans in Detroit, Michigan. William worked as Manager of the Chemistry Lab at Botsford General Hospital for many years. Graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from Carnegie University in Cleveland, Ohio. William loved to play pool, music and dancing, watching boxing, fishing, boating, and his dogs; but most of all he cherished every moment spent with family. William will be deeply missed. He is survived by his children: Tammy (Jody) Carie, Gregory J. Evans, Jonathon T. Evans; grandchildren: Nichole, Alyssa, Collin, Summer; 2 ½ great grandchildren; siblings: Kirk Evans and Thomas Evans; very dear nieces and nephews; and former wife, Barbara. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gregory James Evans; sister, Joy Mott; and grandchild, Devin.
