William Harold Heath

HEATH, WILLIAM H. age 67, died January 12, 2013. Funeral Services 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church, 746 S. Saginaw St.. Flint, MI. Rev. Paul Ytterock officiating. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Bill was born July 31, 1945 in Detroit, MI the son of Harold and Jean (Brown) Heath. In 1967 he graduated from Western Michigan University. He married Sharon Lenger in 1968, in Grand Rapids, MI. Bill served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force from 1969 to 1973. After his discharge he worked as an Engineer at A.C. Spark Plug for 18 years and then became Facilities Engineer for Trialon Corp. for 18 years, retiring in 2004. He also worked as the Technical Director at the Flushing High School Auditorium. In addition he was in charge of the radio broadcast, sound and lights at First Presbyterian Church of Flint. Surviving are wife Sharon A. of Flushing; son William C. (Amanda) Heath of Grand Blanc, MI; daughter Jennifer L. (Travis) Smith of Grand Blanc, MI.; 3 granddaughters Kyleigh Smith, Piper Smith and Grace Heath; brother Richard J. (Lucinda) Heath of Clio, MI.
