

A rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie R.; three sons, Andrew Steven and Kenneth Allen, both of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Michael Shawn of Denver; six brothers, Johnny of Pueblo, Manuel of La Junta, Chris and George, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Louis and Anthony, both of Pueblo; three sisters, Rita Mays of La Junta, Mable Mynes of Rocky Ford and Annie Quintana-Martinez of Grand Junction; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Andrew Quintana Jr., husband of Jessie Quintana, was born in La Junta, CO, on June 23, 1941, to Andres Quintana and Guadalupe Dominguez. He had eight brothers, Benny, Tony, Louie, Chris, Johnny, Manuel, Jimmy Ray, and George; and three sisters, Rita, Annie, and Mabel.
He passed away on January 12, 2017. For those who knew him he was a very likable person that gave to the community. Andy was a member of the Anciano Choir. He enjoyed singing so much that he even reached out and sang for incarcerated inmates at the Delta prison with Kairos of Colorado.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 36 years—an honorary lifetime member, Council 1062, a 4th degree member of Assembly #1519.
A Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM at Callahan Edfast Mortuary on Thursday, January 19. Burial mass will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 230 N. 3rd Street, Grand Junction on Friday at 2:00 PM.
