Severia “Lucia” Forenza in Salerno, Italy on April 27, 1944, Anna immigrated to the United
States with her mother aboard the Adrea Doria in 1956. She lived in upstate New York, raising
eight children, eventually settling to Colorado in 2002.
Anna loved the Lord with all her heart, and the boldness of her faith served as a beacon to
countless others to whom she ministered and with whom she interacted. She was the spiritual
mother to many and she demonstrated a life of strength through unwavering faith. Though a
spiritually serious woman, Anna had a natural curiosity of life that lent her a child-like wonder
at the world around her. Anna was hungry to experience all she could in this world, and she
lived with zeal. She loved to laugh, and few can think back on her life without a smile. Anna
touched and forever changed the lives of all who were fortunate enough to encounter her, and
she leaves this world a better place for her having been with us.
Anna is survived by her eight children, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. We
celebrate Anna with deep gratitude for the particular gifts she brought to this world and for the
enthusiasm with which she lived.
