

Mr. Cooper was a chef/teacher of culinary arts.
He is survived by his wife Nancy; three sons, James A. of Castle Rock, and James J. and Michael P., both of Grand Junction; two daughters, Cynthia G. Pringle of Thornton, and Brenda A. Smith of Grand Junction; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Anthony ""Tony"" Cooper
November 14, 1939 - April 14, 2015
Tony passed away at HopeWest Care Center on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. He was born in La Junta, Colorado to Virginia M. and Earl W. Cooper.
Tony was a chef most of his adult life. He owned and operated The Gallery Restaurant in Steamboat Springs for several years. He ended his career passing along his talents as Chef/Instructor of Culinary Arts at the School District #51 Career Center.
He was an avid fly fisherman and was a fishing guide in Montana. He loved fishing, camping, traveling in his motor home, and seldom missed a Broncos or Rockies game.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, James A. Cooper of Castle Rock, Colorado; daughter, Cynthia G. Pringle of Thornton, Colorado; step-children, Brenda A. Smith, James J. Morris, and Michael P. Morris, all of Grand Junction; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A family memorial is planned for a later date.
