Archie was born March 17, 1924 in Ordway, Colorado to Blanche Emma Hawes and
Fredrick Lee Williams, both deceased. He is preceded in death by six brothers, two sisters
and one grandchild. He was married September 21, 1945 in Grand Junction, CO to Mildred A
(White) Williams. He was an Army Veteran and retired from the United States Post Office
after 30 years. He was a member of the Palisade Nazarene Church.
Archie is survived by his wife Mildred, sons Bob Williams, Bill Williams, and daughter
Sue Wood, and their spouses. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 19
great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. at Martin Mortuary. A Celebration of Life will be at held Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Palisade Nazarene Church.
