Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at the mortuary.

Survivors include her husband, Owen D.; one son, Gary LaBelle of Edgewater; one sister, Betty Alcorn of Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Arlene Barnes, 94, passed away August 2, 2015, at Mantey Heights in Grand Junction, Colorado.

She was born on October 5, 1920, in Payette, Idaho, to Lorenzo and Bertha Johnson.

Arlene was married to Owen Barnes in 1946, in Yakima, Washington. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, bowling, volunteering, and helping others.

She is survived by her husband, Owen; son, Gary LaBelle of Edgewater, CO; sister, Betty Alcorn of Salt Lake City, UT; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Ausherman, a son, Ronald Barnes, and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2015. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on August 8, 2015, at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Interment and concluding services will follow at Memorial Gardens in Grand Junction.
