Barbara Jean Milne, wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on April 8, 2023. She was born in Riverside, California on March 7, 1933. She was raised in Santa Monica CA when she met the love of her life, Don Milne while he was working at Ralph’s Grocery Store as a box boy. They have two daughters, Vicki, and Christy. Barbara enjoyed being a homemaker and raising their two girls. After Don’s retirement from being a plumber/estimator, they moved to Glenwood Springs, Colorado and purchased The Hideout Cabins and Campground in 1979. They sold the campground 5 years later and moved to Grand Junction and then to Fruita. Barbara loved to work around their house when they were not out camping or touring on their Goldwing motorcycle. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Don of 71 years, 8 months and 1 day, and is survived by daughters Vicki Milne, Christy Novins, son-in-law Mark Novins, and grandson Trevor Novins.
