Betty Jean Burris, 94, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the Larchwood Inns Nursing Facility in Grand Junction, Colorado. Betty was born March 28, 1930 in Kansas City, Kansas to Chester D Crawford and Rose Viola Kepcha. She was one of five bothers and sisters, all preceding her in death.
She worked as a telephone operator for many years and was a devoted mother and wife. She made her home with her husband, Paul G Burris, also preceding her in death, in Grand Junction, Colorado in 1969.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Terri (Allen) Parkerson, and Bryan (Cynthia) Burris, both of Grand Junction, Colorado, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Private services to be held February 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Grand Junction, Colorado by Callahan-Edfast Mortuary with interment at the Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
