Brent was born May 25, 1953 in Vernal, Utah to DeWayne and Edith. Brent was the youngest of three children. His parents moved the family around the Mountain West until they finally settled in Woodland Park where Brent attended Woodland Park High School. After graduation, Brent continued to move around the state of Colorado until he met the love of his life and settled down in Grand Junction.
Brent and wife, Laura, raised two boys Toby and Cody. He would devote 33 years of service to MHC Kenworth. After retiring Brent took advantage of his remaining years spending most of his time going on hikes or spending quality time with his family. Perhaps Brent's greatest joy was spending time with his grandson Deklan who he adored.
Brent is survived by his wife Laura, of 39 years, sons Toby and Cody (Kallie), grandson Deklan, and sister Montine (Bill) Rogers. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved dearly and will be missed by all.
Due to COVID the family has decided to delay a celebration of life until a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to a charity of your choosing.
