Carol Wrobel, born on September 23, 1953, in Miami, Arizona, passed away on October 2, 2025, in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was 72 years old.
Carol led a life marked by dedication, creativity, and service. After graduating from Superior High School, she answered the call to serve her country as a Radio Teletype Operator in the U.S. Army. Her military service reflected her strength and commitment to something greater than herself.
Following her time in the armed forces, Carol built a long-standing career with CoorsTek Inc., where she held multiple titles over an impressive span of 18 and a half years. Her work ethic and reliability left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside her.
Beyond her professional life, Carol found joy and expression through her many creative pursuits. She loved to crochet intricate patterns by hand, draw with care and imagination, and fill her home with music from the piano and guitar. These hobbies were not only pastimes but also reflections of her vibrant spirit and artistic soul.
Carol was deeply devoted to her family. She was a loving daughter to Clen and Ruby Haynes; a cherished wife to Bart Wrobel; a devoted mother to her son Seth Haynes; and a proud grandmother to Ruby, Kirie, Seamus, and Jebediah. Her family circle also included her daughter-in-law, Esther Haynes; her brother Randy Haynes; and her sisters Sandy Breland, Dana Graham, and Diane Miller. She held close the memory of her sister Sharon Palmer who preceded her in death.
Those who knew Carol will remember her as someone who gave generously of herself—as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, colleague, and friend. Her warmth touched many lives across generations.
May Carol's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
