Charles "Arturo" Cordova

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. Has passed peacefully in his home on, March 29, 2022. As he walked to the kingdom of heaven. He was rejoined with his beloved daughter, Lisa, his parents; Charlie and Lucy Cordova, brother; David Cordova, and sister; Carla Gallegos.

Charles was born on September 06, 1955 to Charlie and Lucy Cordova in Alamosa, Colorado. He was the youngest of four. At the age of four his family moved to Grand Junction. In 1977, Charles married the love of his life, Joan, and had four children. He loved being with his family, hunting, hiking, fishing, and camping. He always loved to work on his yard and was an avid Denver Bronco fan.

Charles worked for the city of Grand Junction for forty years and retired in 2016. He was survived by his brother, Frank (Marsha) Cordova, his loving wife of forty four years, Joan, daughters; Diana (Beto) Cera, Amy (Greg) Varela, son; Michael (Melissa) Cordova, daughter-in-law; Tina Cordova, twelve grandkids and seven great-grand kids. He will be missed dearly.

The Cordova, Cera, Varela, Do, and Herrera families want to thank everyone for all the prayers, thoughts, kind words, texts, calls, food, etc. As per dad's request there will be no services.
