Charles "Robby" Johnson

Robby was born on September 2, 1955, in Salida, Colorado, to Charles R. and M. Virginia (Robinson) Johnson. He spent his childhood in Grand Junction, and graduated from Grand Junction High School. Robby married Rosemary Craig, and they had three children, Charlie, David and Sarah. He and Rosemary later divorced. Robby was a carpenter and a roofer by trade. He was also a member of the First Christian Church in Grand Junction. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf, bicycling, woodworking, and spending time outdoors.

Robby is survived by his parents, Charles and Virginia Johnson of Grand Junction; sons, Charlie B. Johnson and David R. Johnson, both of Grand Junction; brother, Rodney J. Johnson of Grand Junction; and 7 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Randy P. Johnson; and his daughter, Sarah Mary Johnson.

A celebration of life will take place Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Mortuary.
