Cynthia (Cindy) Ozga passed away on August 15th after a courageous battle with an illness, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Matthew Ozga, and her father, Glen Marshall Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Nicole Velarde and son-in-law Joe, her daughter Katie Ozga; her grandchildren, Nico, Thomas, and Bexlee; her mother, Barbara; her sisters, Allyson and Carrie; and many extended family members and friends who loved her.
Cindy was born and raised in San Leandro, California, and spent the last 15 years in Grand Junction, Colorado. She will be remembered for her sheer will and strength, her love for her grandchildren, and the joy she found in her pets and the simple things in life.
A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at a later date.
