Daniel Anthony Clifford, born October 13, 1938, in Denver, passed away on March 29, 2024, at age 85. A Vietnam War reconnaissance marine, his experiences shaped a distinguished career in material science. Post-war, he contributed to aerospace advancements at Rockwell International, McDonald Douglas, and Boeing.
Daniel's legacy and life journey, marked by dedication, intellect, and kindness, will be eternally remembered by those fortunate to have known him. His nephew Dennis and niece Dawn survive him, cherishing memories of their brave and loving uncle.
A memorial service will be held on Memorial Day, May 27, 2024, at 10 AM at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Grand Junction, CO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a veterans' charity or Catholic Outreach of Grand Junction to honor Daniel's service.
