Darlene was born on April 11, 1936, in Denver, Colorado, to Samuel “Victor” and Anna Katharina (Blum) Pierce. She spent her childhood in Oak Creek, Colorado, and graduated from high school there. She married Ralph Emerson Adair on October 23, 1954, in Craig, Colorado. She was a proud homemaker and a Jehovah’s Witness. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and painting.
Darlene is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (John) Alicea, of Grand Junction, Heather (Frank) Keoppel, of Ogden, Utah, Chirea (Dan) Brown of Grand Junction, and Valerie Bailey of Grand Junction; her brother, Tony Cesko, of Whitewater, Colorado; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; brother, Victor Pierce; and sisters, Joan Zimmerman, and Francis Petronovich.
