Dennis Lee Gustafson

August 15, 1945 – June 25, 2015

Dennis was born in Holdrege, Nebraska. He eventually ended up in Delta, Colorado where he saw the woman he knew he would marry, running through the streets of Delta celebrating a Montrose victory.

Dennis’ most cherished thing in this world was his wife, Mary. He loved doing anything and everything as long as she was with him. Dennis’ other great joy was ‘the journey’; for him, a trip wasn’t just about the destination, each story began the moment the family left the house. Dennis had a mechanical mind and used ingenuity to solve automotive mysteries throughout his life; he was full of useful knowledge just waiting to be shared with family and friends.

Dennis is survived by his children, Michael, Michelle, Mark and Damion; siblings, Ron and Linda; grandchildren, Mandy, Nathan, Shannon, Caitlin, Adam, Esten, and Dutch; great grandchildren, Sean, Aryanna, Zack, Alianna, and Silas; and in-laws, Nancy, Don, Bill, Amber and David.

Dennis was 69 when he was reunited with the love of his life in heaven.
