Born on November 13, 1932, in Coahoma, Texas, to Thomas Eugene Bond and Lois O'Dell Simmons, Earlene grew up in Coahoma and graduated from high school there. She also lived in Rangely, Colorado, and Kermit, Texas. A devoted member of the Church of Christ, she worked as a homemaker, bookkeeper, secretary, and beautician.
Earlene had a passion for ceramics and embroidery and was known for her talents as an artist and seamstress.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lois, and her husband, Raymond Jones. Earlene is survived by her daughters, Sandy Cruz (Paul) and Sherri DeRose (Ron); her brother, Joe Bond; her sister, Jeanie Lindsey; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
