

Edward (Ned) Bridge Bradley of Fruita, Colorado passed away July 29, 2015 after a brief fight with cancer. Ned was born on April 2, 1937 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Joseph and Barbara Bradley.
A quiet man of many talents, with vast knowledge and a heart of gold, he will be remembered for his easy going attitude and his gentle soul. As a young man, Ned joined the Navy and served aboard the aircraft carrier Saratoga. He met Dorothy Carol Dickson, a nurse, who became his wife in 1961. They were married for 53 years until her death in 2014. He earned his degree in electrical engineering from Marquette University. He and Carol raised their 4 daughters in Waukesha, Wisconsin. They also lived in Cedar Minnesota and Fruita.
Ned was an accomplished skier who gave back to others through the National Ski Patrol System; he was a senior patroller, first aid and CPR instructor, and a lifetime member of the organization. He was a lover of the outdoors, spending many hours camping with his family, skiing, sailing and fly fishing.
A man of great faith he joins his predeceased parents, two brothers Joseph Jr and Richard and his wife Carol in the kingdom of God.
He is survived by beloved children Linda C. and David Rowekamp, Patricia and Scott Berger, Marianne and Reed Leberman and Sharon Bradley; 11 grandchildren, Bradley, Sarah, Margaret, Taylor, Elizabeth, Ryan, Erik, Catherine, Anthony, Rebecca and Bradley; his brother and sister-in-law Robert and Virginia Bradley, sister-in-laws Ellen Bradley and Dr. Patricia Barton, and nieces and nephews Christina, Alex, Robert, Lisa, Matthew, Christopher, Samantha, Stephanie, Lyle, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Katherine.
Callahan Edfast mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements. A mass celebrating his life will be held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Grand Junction Colorado on August 28, 2015 at 10:00am.
