We are all so grateful for the loving and compassionate care given by Dr. McCarrell, our nurses at St. Mary's Elaine, Natalie, Christy and Megan who all truly know the meaning of compassionate caregiving.
""Every child who touches our lives, whether for a moment or for decades, has significance. We may have to search deeply for them, but the essential blessings are there - these treasures and gifts from children. A part of them lives on when we dare to let ourselves remember, because however brief their journey through this world, our memories are proof of their existence.""
The family suggests memorial contributions in EmmaLeigh's name to HopeWest Kids, a grief program for children in our community, 3090 N. 12th Street, Unit B, Grand Junction, Colo. 81506.
