Erasmo was born on November 27, 1954 in Texas from the union of Felix Francisca Parras. He spent his childhood in Silverton Texas and later graduated from Silverton High School.
He was retired oil and gas consultant and lived previously in Greeley, Colorado and Nevada.
He married Rosemary Castillo in Fort Morgan, Colorado in 1974, she preceded him in death on January 18, 1984 in Greely, Colorado. He married Maria Paredes and they later divorced.
Erasmo attended services for both for Catholic and Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints faiths. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bingo, traveling, landscaping, yard work and was a Broncos fan. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family.
Erasmo leaves behind his sons, Manuel (Alina) Parras of Aurora, CO, Guadalupe (Tomasita) Ovalle of Grand Junction, Michael (Sherray) Ovalle of Grand Junction, CO., daughters; Jennifer (Trinidad) Ramos of Grand Junction, CO, Christina (Jeremiah) Campoz of Greely, CO. Brothers, Mario Parras of Asherton, TX, Elias Parras of Greely, CO, Arnold and Daniel Parras. Sisters, Olga Ortiz of Corpus Christy, TX, Marcy Castillo of Fort Morgan, CO, Avelinda Bornhoft of Fort Collins, CO and Oriah Sage of Breckenridge, CO. Other survivors include eighteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a special friend Debra Kinard.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Alex, Joe, David and Isreal Parras.
