Florence Mary Henderson

April 1st 1922- April 9th 2016

The Lord took Florence Henderson home on Saturday, April 9th in Montrose, CO at the young age of 94. She was surrounded by her family & friends; those who loved her the most.

Florence was born in Springfield, Missouri & made Colorado her home for over the past 70 years. She loved fishing, gardening, yard sales, her church, family, friends, dancing & of course, George Strait. She was loved for her sense of humor, her ability to save any stray cat that came across her way & the way she loved others.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard, her sister Lillian & her grandchildren Cheryl & Nick. Florence is survived by her children, Patricia of Montrose, CO & her husband Pete, Michael of Montrose, CO, Lillian of Middleburg, VA, Linda of Branson, MO & her husband Dave & Donna of San Antonio, TX. She was also blessed with 9 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren & 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

She will be missed greatly but her family is comforted knowing she is with the Lord & loved ones. A Celebration of her Life will be held at Top of the Hill Baptist Church in Montrose, CO on Tuesday, April 19th at 10 AM.
