

Burial will be at 10 a.m. today at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Walters of Grand Junction, and James K. Walters of Soldotna, Alaska; two daughters, Nancy Cross of Kenai, Alaska, and Dorothy Nichols of Ozark, Missouri; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Glenda Roberta Graham Walters, 93, died peacefully from natural causes January 15, 2016 at Hope West Hospice. A viewing will be held at Callahan Edfast Mortuary on January 21, 6:00-8:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at First Church of the Nazarene, 2802 Patterson Rd. at 2:00 PM January 22. Rev. Larry Chovancek will officiate.
She was born June 12, 1922 in Naylor, Missouri to Robert L. Graham and Myrtle Fowler Graham. She spent her early life in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and married Wilson S. Walters, Jr. in September, 1944 but was widowed early on. She married his brother, James D. Walters in December, 1945 and spent the rest of her life in Grand Junction. James predeceased her in August, 2014.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Nichols, Ozark, Missouri, and three children: Robert W. (Geri) Walters, Grand Junction; James K. (Teri) Walters, Soldotna, Alaska; and Nancy (Corbie) Cross, Kenai, Alaska; seven grandchildren, Patrick (Ginny) Walters, Chris (Stacey) Walters, Bruce (Lisa) Walters, Sheila (Ty) DuCray, Josh (Maria) Cross, Erin (Marty) Hester and Stephanie Sholley. She also had 15 great-grandchildren.
