Survivors include his wife, Ruth; eight sons, Ron, Danny, Randy, Justin, Brian, Josh, Daniel and Paul; six daughters, Karen, Debbie, Sheila, Shelly, Sherry and Errin; 26 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Harlan Murl Reid

June 22, 1941 - June 19, 2016

Harlan Murl Reid was born June 22, 1941, to Murl and Beryl Reid in Tucumcari, New Mexico and peacefully went to be with the Lord and his heavenly home June 19, 2016, in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Harlan was a devoted minister of the gospel of grace and the unconditional love of our Lord Jesus Christ. He founded churches in Longmont Colorado, Billings Montana, and Williston North Dakota and traveled throughout Canada and the United States as an evangelist. Harlan's love for the Lord was very strong and ever present to anyone who was blessed to know him. When you were around him, you knew he was committed to the Gospel he preached and felt the love and forgiveness that was such a part of him.

In his early years, Harlan was a master craftsman and general contractor building many projects in Grand Junction, Carbondale, Aspen, Denver and Casper, Wyoming. He has now gone on to start a new venture in heaven creating a new beginning to welcome us all when we see him again.

Harlan will be missed by many and always in the hearts of those that loved him most. He will be remembered as a loving and kind, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His kind heart will live on inside us all.

Harlan is survived by his wife, Ruth; eight sons, Ron, Danny, Randy, Justin, Brian, Josh, Daniel and Paul (deceased); six daughters, Karen, Debbie, Shella, Shelly, Sherry, and Errin; he also has 26 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren which will all miss him greatly. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Curtis, and his son, Paul.
