On January 23rd 2025, in Grand Junction, Colorado at the age of 96 Harold Wayne Gaul passed away surrounded by his friends and family at Capella Nursing Home. Mr. Gaul was born on June 13, 1928 in Dodge City, Kansas to Everett and Mildred Marine Gaul. He spent most of his childhood in Dodge City, Kansas and graduated from High School in Ford, Kansas graduating in 1946.
Harold served honorably in the United States Army and was discharged in 1952 with the rank of Corporal. He later he became a Supervisor for Metal Door Manufacturing Company.
On May 21st, 1960, he married Joan Marie Chambers in Denver, she presided him death. Together they welcomed two beautiful daughters, Karen and Tracy into the world. Harold was a devoted father, his children were the most important part of his life along with his family which was his biggest passion. Before passing away Mr. Gaul was a resident of Grand Junction for two and a half years.
Harold is survived by his two daughters, Tracy Weber (Grand Junction, CO) and Karen Gaul (Lakewood, CO); his four Grandchildren, three Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Great-Grandchild, his three sisters Lois Crego (Wellington CO); Pat Dome (Kansas); Donna Hensley (Kansas); along with his nieces and nephews.
A military funeral service will be held for Mr. Gaul at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado here in Grand Junction on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 1:00pm.
