Howard Herman Lange

Howard H. Lange, 96, passed away November 1st 2016. He was born to Ernest R. and Gertrude R. Lange in Bertha, MN on April 14, 1920, the 3rd oldest of 5 boys. He graduated from Bertha High School and attended one year of vocational trade school to learn cabinetry.

During world War II he headed west to help the war effort in the factories in California. There he found his bride Geraldine M. Lange and was married on October 8, 1944. Howard was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a talented craftsman. He retired from Coors after 22 years and from there enjoyed an active retirement.

He is survived by his wife Geraldine, sons Richard (Paulette), Mark (Martha), Scott (Jeanne), five grandchildren Nicolle Lewis (Matt), Sean Lange (Tasha), Zachary Lange, Brian Lange and Sarah Lange, and three great-grandchildren Lauren Lewis, Zooey Lange, and Emily Collette.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 4th at Martin Mortuary in Grand Junction, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HopeWest Hospice, 3090 North 12th Street, #B, Grand Junction, CO 81506, www.hopewestco.org.
