John Burt Terhune

Mr. Terhune was a manager at a ceramic tile store.

He is survived by his wife, Vicky; two sons, Brian and Mark, both of Grand Junction; one brother, Dennis of Grand Junction; and one sister Mary J. Norris of Grand Junction.

John Terhune

July 29, 1944 - January 19, 2015

John Burt Terhune, age 70, of Grand Junction, CO passed away Monday, January 19, after a stroke, while suffering from Pancreatic Cancer.

John was born in Oak Creek, CO on July 29, 1944, son of Burt and Jewell Terhune.

He grew up mainly in the Yampa Valley, but later graduated from Palisade High School. He received a bachelor degree from Colorado State University.

John worked for the Forest Service and was self employed as a general contractor for several years in California. Here in Grand Junction, he was manager of Dal-Tile and Stone for nearly 19 years.

John is survived by his wife, Vicky; sons, Brian and Mark, all of Grand Junction; brother, Dennis Terhune of Grand Junction, and sister, Mary J. Norris of Paonia, CO.
