

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary Chapel, with a rosary at 7 p.m. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial following at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
Mr. Herrera was an owner/operator of a mobile home service.
He is survived by his wife, Veronica Louise; three sons, Joe Tony and Paul David, both of Corona, Calif., and Thomas Edward of Grand Junction; three daughters, Sophia Mary Avina of Corona and Donna Dee Herrera and Peggy Priscilla Rulf, both of Grand Junction; three brothers, Samuel, Napoleon and Raymond, all of Rocky Ford; two sisters, Gloria Lopez and Erlinda Garcia, both of Rocky Ford; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild,

February 16, 1942 - February 15, 2014
Our loving father went to heaven on February 15, 2014.
He was 71 years old. Thank you Hospice, family and friends who cared for him.
Jose was born to Tony and Sophia Herrera. His career for 45 years was owner of Herrera and Son's Mobile Home Service. Jose enjoyed his retirement by selling Jo Jo's Ice Cream with his grandchildren. He gave away more ice cream than he sold. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. He was a lucky gambler and enjoyed playing Bingo and scratching lottery tickets.
He loved spending time with his wife of 52 years, Louise. He is survived by his family, Art, Sophia, Ashley, Sara; Donna, Joseph, Laura, Baby; Joe, Karen, Ryan; Paul, Sandra, Chelsea, Ashley; Richard,
Peggy, Deborah, Nathan, Cullen, Grandpa Rulf; Thomas, Veronika, Sky, Destiny; his brothers and sisters, Nappy, Sammy, Raymond,
Gloria, Erlinda, Cousin Mindy, and his nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held 5 - 7:00 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary on February 20, 2014, with Rosary following. Funeral services at St.
Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, February 21, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.
