Kathleen Lynn Stetzel

Kathleen L. Stetzel, born on February 23, 1960 passed away suddenly on July 20, 2014 at 54 years old in Grand Junction, Colorado. Her parents are John and MaryAnn (Van De Steeg) Rogers. She spent her childhood in Sioux City Iowa and graduated from North High School. She was continuing her education at Colorado Mesa University where she earned her Associate degree in Accounting. She loved the outdoors and camping in the mountains with her family. She took great pride in gardening, cooking and was a hard worker. Kathy had an adventurous free spirit that she paired with an energetic boisterous outlook on life. In her final months she found purpose and determination in strengthening her family relationships especially with her children and grandson Charlie and her brother Johnny. She is survived by parents John and MaryAnn (Van De Steeg) Rogers of Sioux City Iowa, her children Lyndsey A. Stetzel and partner Darrell James Tabb and their son Charles, a son Daniel John Stetzel of Grand Junction and his daughter Zoe Coyle of Sioux City, sister Kristi Ann Rogers and her partner Jeff Rhodes and brother John Patrick Rogers, all of Grand Junction and sister Kerry Buller of Sioux City. Neices and nephews include: Kristopher, Kaylie and Kyle Buller, Emily and Michael Rogers and Olivia Rogers-Jongeward. Kathy is preceded in death by her husband John Charles Stetzel.
