Laura Lee Sanders

Laura was born on May 1, 1966 in Ashtabula, Ohio to Jerrold David Schultz and Georgia Bodnovich Schultz. She spent her childhood in Meeker, Colorado and graduated from Meeker High School. Laura married Clyde Lane, and they had four daughters. Unfortunately, Clyde passed away on May 23, 2005. Laura found love again when she met Stanley Sanders, and they were married in April of 2006. Stanley passed away on February 28, 2014. She is also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Laura Lee Lane.

Laura was a homemaker and enjoyed crafting in her spare time. She had a memorable laugh that will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her parents, Jerrold and Georgia Schultz of Meeker; daughters, Ashley Shannon of Fruita, Amber Lane of Palisade, and Leann Lane of Fruita; her sisters, Linda of Colorado and Sandi, Patti, Deborah, and Susan of Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 22 at 10 AM at Church on the Rock, 2710 Broadway Avenue in Grand Junction.
