Leona Faye Pritchard

Mrs. L. Faye Pritchard, age 87 years, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, surrounded by both her daughters, at her home in De Beque, CO. Mrs. Pritchard was born on June 5, 1929 in Harrison County, MO and was a graduate of Hatfield High School in Hatfield, MO. Faye was a loving and devoted house wife, mother, and grandmother, and also enjoyed many different careers throughout her life. She enjoyed reading and knitting and was a very proud and active member of Open Bible Fellowship in De Beque, CO and also a member of the Eastern Star.

Faye was the beloved wife of 63 wonderful years to Delbert L. Pritchard whom she married on June 20, 1948 in Hatfield, MO and he preceded her in death on November 7, 2011. Loving mother of Deborah F. McCloskey (J. Patrick McCloskey) of Huntingdon, PA and Janet L. Nichols of De Beque, CO. Grandmother of Ben E. Nichols, III (Wendy), Rebecca L. Schowalter, Danielle A. Nottingham (Jeff), and Kathleen M. Mumau (Jeremy). Great grandmother of Justin, Jerome, Tristin, and Halley Jo Nichols; Amanda, Miranda, and Brendon Schowalter; and McKenzie Mumau.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents; Louie S. Lovitt and Lois A. Hill Lovitt Lynch, and her sister, Freeda Parman.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a celebration of her life at Open Bible Fellowship, 283 W 7th St, De Beque, CO, on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:00am.
