Leslie Haller Jr. passed away at his home in Grand Junction, on March 15th, 2022.
Les Jr. “Bud” son of Leslie Haller Sr. & Elva (Clark) Haller was born on November 30, 1931 in Fruita, Colorado. He graduated from Fruita Union High School, where he played football and basketball in 1950.
He was drafted into the army during the Korean Conflict and was later honorably discharged (1953).
Upon returning home, he married Doris, had 3 sons, David, Warren, and Randy. They were later divorced. In 1976, he married his soulmate, Nina Criswell.
Les worked for Mays Concrete until he retired. In his free time, Les enjoyed gardening and could grow the best tomatoes around, and spending time at his cabin fishing and 4 wheeling. He was well liked by all and loved to make people smile. He also loved to dance and enjoyed polka music. To Les, family was everything.
He is survived by his sons, David, Warren and Randy, his sister Elva (Betts), 5 granddaughters, Amy, Heidi, Stephanie, Wendy and Kendall and many great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Calahan-Edfast Mortuary April 1, 2022 at 1:00pm followed by a burial service at New Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita.
