Leticia Hernandez-Purpus passed away July 31, 2014 at the Hospice Care Center, Grand Junction, Colorado, she was 57. Leticia was born on February 14, 1957 in Monteleon, Mexico to Sergio and Josefina Hernandez. She was a custodian and School District Woman of the Year 2007. She leaves behind her husband; James Purpus, a son; James Patrick Purpus III both of Grand Junction, CO., two daughters; Erika Alcala Purpus of Los Angeles, CA and Lylah Helen Purpus of Grand Junction, CO., her parents; Sergio Hernandez of Bloomington, CA., and Josefina Hernandez of Grand Junction, CO., two brothers; Sergio Hernandez of Kentucky and Barry Hernandez of Grand Junction, CO., and a sister; Maria Rosario Hernandez of Michoacán, Mexico. Services will take place at a later date.
