

After a long-term health struggle Linda peacefully passed away the evening of November 21,2024 with Family members by her bedside.
Early in life Linda was brought up in Grand Junction from elementary school through High School. Shortly following her secondary schooling Linda relocated to Southern California for career and personal growth. Linda attended and completed her studies at El Camino College, LA, CA. Shortly after she Free-lanced doing graphic design, catalog and cover lay-outs, for several major retail department stores.
On August 6,1990 Linda was married to Gene Sandoval in the city of Los Angeles, Ca. where they later raised two children, Sean and Dominique. Linda was a Homemaker, “stay at home mom” during the children’s developing years and later donated her time at Mission Parish Catholic School where her children attended. Later she worked for the San Juan Capistrano School District, CA
In 2005 Linda returned to Grand Junction with her husband and family. Linda continued to share her guiding light at School District 51 where she retired after 15 years as a Paraprofessional. Linda left an indelible mark on students, facility and friends.
Linda was the soul of the family. She had a significant impact as a role model to her family. She maintained selflessness and tried to live by the 7 Virtues establishing a great foundation for her family. She was a giver and never expected anything in return. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years Eugene Sandoval, daughter Dominique “Nikki” M. Sandoval, son Sean E. Sandoval, daughter-in-law Mariah Sandoval, brother Dan Cruz and sister Susan Lovato.
Linda will be honored with a private service at St. Joseph Catholic church. Interment will follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery. Services will be held in the new year.
