Lisa Lee Cordova, age 37, of Grand Junction was called Home on Friday, August 20, 2021 with her family around her. Lisa was born to Charles and Joan Cordova on March 26, 1984 at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. A lifelong resident she grew up in the Riverside neighborhood and later graduated from the Grand Junction High School.
She loved fishing, camping, watching her nieces and nephews play sports, and swimming with her Baby Caden. Lisa had a very special place in her heart for all of her nieces and nephews; Alyssa (Richard), Johnny, Chelsey (Philip), Anthony, Michael, Janae, Jordan, Greggy, Mariana, Mila, Carlos, Mauricio, Tony, and Brian; great nieces and nephews, Cheveya, Elijah, Azik, LeiLei, and Baby Girl Mora.
She is preceded in death by grandparents; Elix and Patricia Bailon, Charlie and Lucy Cordova. Lisa will be deeply missed by her loving wife of fourteen years, Tina Quintana; her son and world, Baby Caden Herrera; parents, Charles and Joan Cordova; brother, Michael (Melissa) Cordova; sisters, Diana (Beto) Cera and Amy (Greg) Varela; fourteen nieces and nephews; and five great nieces and nephews. She had a special place in her heart for all her family and friends.
A Rosary will be held at the Callahan Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Road – Grand Junction, on Friday, August 27th at 6:00pm. A time of refreshments and fellowship will follow. A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, August 28th at the Callahan-Edfast Mortuary at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will be held at Riverside Park, 675 West Colorado Avenue – Grand Junction, at 4:00 pm following the Memorial Mass. All are welcome to join in a dove release at 5:00pm.
Lisa’s family is very grateful and wants to express thanks to everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support in this time.
