

Charles Martin ”Marty” Raschke was born on June 29, 1957 in Craig, Colorado to Roger and Joanne (Lee) Raschke. He was raised in Craig and attended Moffat County Schools. While in high school, he was a member of the band. He graduated in 1975 and was proud to be voted “Class Clown”. He had retired from the auto industry and was living in Grand Junction, Colorado at the time of his passing on December 10, 2021.
He was an avid Broncos, Avalanche, and Rockies fan. When you went to visit, whatever the season, the appropriate sport was on. He was also a faithful and fanatical Notre Dame football fan. He loved animals and rescued as many greyhounds as he could.
Marty is survived by his two children, Stephanie (Josh) Sutton of Broomfield, CO, and Nicholas Raschke of Denver, CO, grandchildren, Caleb and Jenessa Sutton of Broomfield, CO; sisters, Clarise (Raschke) Corriveau, and Renee (Russ) Turner, both of Craig, CO; nephews, Edward (Kristen) Corriveau of Hayden, CO, LaDrew (Dominique) Turner and Kulen (Chancey) Turner of Craig, CO; and niece Heather (Corriveau) (Mark) Rexin of Spring Creek, Nevada. He also has seven great nieces, two great nephews and one great-great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Sharp and Marie (Villard) Lee, Charles and Dorothy Raschke, and Bill and Gwen Harling; as well as his niece, Genessa Turner and great nephew, Kenneth Corriveau.
