Mary Katherine Fuller, 83, passed away on September 15, 2016, at the Hope West Care Center in Grand Junction, CO.

Mary was a lifelong resident of Grand Junction, CO.

Mary was born to John and Mary (Selan) Krizman, Sr. on December 11, 1932. She grew up and attended schools in Grand Junction, graduating from Central High School and attending Mesa Jr. College. She then worked as a secretary for a few years at Central High School. After her son was born she worked as a teacher’s aide and secretary at Fruitvale Elementary. She worked for 38 years at Fruitvale Elementary until she retired.

She married the love of her life, Eldon J. Fuller, on October 25, 1956, in Las Vegas, NV. They had one son, David Fuller, of Grand Junction, CO.

Mary was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and she served on the Mesa County Planning Commission for many years. She enjoyed being a mom, gardening, working on the farm, tole painting and taking care of her many pets, family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and loved animals. She leaves behind her chihuahua, Chaquita and her cat, Miss Kitty

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eldon Fuller and one brother, Harry Krizman. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, David and Chris Fuller of Grand Junction, CO; one sister, Betty Hall of Grand Junction, CO; and one brother who also lives in Grand Junction, CO

A private service is planned for a later date.
