Mr. Christensen was a railroad conductor.
He is survived by his wife, Lori; four daughters, Cindy Kuepper of Durango, Stephanie Lamb of Green River, Wyoming, Christi Ann Boyack of San Diego, and Jennifer Christensen of Grand Junction; and four grandchildren.

Max E. Christensen, 71, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away at HopeWest Hospice on January 28, 2015.
Max was born in Helper, Utah, to Cox and Charolette Christensen. He married his loving wife, Lori, in 1977, in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Max retired from the D&RGW Railroad as a conductor. He was an avid trap shooter and Past President of the Grand Junction Trap Club. Max was a devoted husband, father, and family figure.
He is survived by his wife, Lori of Grand Junction; his children, Cindy (Rolf) Kuepper of Durango; Stephanie (Rafe) Lamb of Green River, Wyoming; Christi Ann (Kirk) Boyack of San Diego, California, and Jennifer Christensen of Grand Junction; four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. January 31, 2015, at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, Colorado.
