Max Colton Harper, 23, passed away unexpectedly in Concordia, KS, on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Cloud County Health Center. He was born on August 31, 1994, in Colorado Springs, CO, to David Joe Harper and Lela Ann Harper (Haswell).
Max graduated from Clifton-Clyde High School in 2013. He was employed at Casey’s General Stores, Concordia. Max always looked forward to his weekly game nights with friends, playing video games, or just hanging out.
He is survived by his parents, Lela Haswell (Rusty) of Concordia and David Harper (JoJo) of Grand Junction, CO; sisters, Makita Francis (Jerod) and Jessica Brown of Clyde, KS; nieces and nephews; grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles; and too many friends to name.
He was preceded in death by his beloved cat, K.C.; his grandparents; Lee Schoonover, Helen Whitesell, and Vernon and Emma Harper.
