Avis de décès
Melodee Camille Kelly
3 avril 1961 – 14 janvier 2022
AUX SOINS DE
Callahan-Edfast Mortuary & Crematory
It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that Melodee "Minnie" Kelly passed away on January 14th, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed peacefully and with dignity while surrounded by loved ones.
Melodee's beautiful soul was a bright light that transformed all who knew her. To know Melodee, was to love her. She enjoyed to craft, cook, and travel. Melodee was a master scuba diver, and when not under the water she found great peace walking on the beach to collect sea shells.
Melodee is survived by the children and families she devoted her life to. She was a nanny for over 30 years. Melodee taught children using language at their developmental level to prepare them for the adult world. Her greatest ability was to teach life's most important values; unconditional love, devotion, kindness and gratitude. She lived what she taught.
Melodee's desire was to have a simple Celebration of Life in Ouray, CO. She will have her ashes spread in the mountains she so loved. The Celebration of Life ceremony will be held in early summer of this year. When the arrangements are finalized, you will be notified via Facebook.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Woman's Club of Ouray County (P.O. Box 101 Ouray, CO 81427; www.womansclubouray@gmail.com and/or Hope West www.hopewestco.org/donate/ .
