Survived by: Gerald and Gregory’s families, brother’s Randy and Mark and their families

Michael had a soul mate relationship with his Bother Mark. Their humor , playfulness, even

illnesses were in Sync. They often knew each others thoughts!

Michael enjoyed so many walks around the park over the many years, accompanied by his

nephews Ben and Nick and his niece Ashlee. Michael had a close bond with Becky his sister in law ,

often playing cards, or sharing burgers and fries together. Michael felt that the staff and residents

at his home , the Florida group home, were also his family. At the last they all kept him loved and

comforted. He loved them all so dearly, he loved the staff at the Grand Junction regional center and

day-program equally as dearly. Michaels best friend was Mickey Mouse, his friend for life! Michael

resided at the group home 32 years and was in the regional center for 39 years! Grand Junction

was his home!

At this time no services are planned

The Allison family would however, like to extend the utmost gratitude to The Florida group home

staff, Grand Junction Regional center staff, Day program staff, Mds and Hospice West for all the

love, and wonderful care and friendship that spanned 39 years. You will be in their hearts forever!
