Paul P Schleisman

Paul Phillip Schleisman, 91, of Grand Junction, Colorado passed away on Sunday, November 16th, 2025, after a long illness. He was a resident at Larchwood Inns.

Paul was born on September 3, 1934, in Carroll, Iowa to Philip A. and Mary L. Schleisman. He was one of six children.

Paul met his future wife, Verleen, through mutual friends, and they were married on October 13, 1961. They had two children, David who is deceased, and Kevin who lives in Wheatridge, Colorado.

Paul traveled extensively during his career as a Broadcast Engineer and lived in Springfield, Virginia before retiring and moving back to Grand Junction. Paul and Verleen spent many happy winters in Quartzsite, Arizona, as well as traveling to visit their sons, sisters and his brother.

He is survived by his wife, Verleen and youngest son, Kevin; sisters, Dorthy Hall, Marian Schachtner, and Donna Schreier. Paul was preceded in death by his oldest son David; father Philip; mother Mary; brother Robert Schleisman and sister Jean Wright.

Paul will be dearly missed by Verleen, Kevin, and his sisters, and all his extended family.

A celebration of life will be held on December 5, 2025, at 11:00am at Martin Mortuary in Grand Junction, Colorado.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Larchwood Inns and Hope West Hospice for the thoughtful and diligent care they provided for Paul.
