Raymond was born on July 30, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah from the union of Kenneth and Patricia Hobbs. He spent his childhood and graduated from High School in Grand Junction. Raymond was a United States Army Veteran, Private First Class. He graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato and Mount Marty College, South Dakota, obtaining his Master’s Degree Nurse Anesthesia. Raymond was employed by William Bee Ririe Hospital in Ely, Utah.
He married Barbara Halloran on October 18, 1985 and they later divorced.
Raymond previously lived in Idaho, Utah and Ely, Nevada. He enjoyed motorcycle and dirt bike riding, skiing, hiking and working on his truck and Chevy Nova.
Raymond leaves behind his sons; Travis A. Hobbs of Seattle Washington and Kenneth J. Hobbs and girlfriend: Alex Voda of Knoxville, Tennessee. Two daughters; Katherine G.(Richard) Montenegro of Salt Lake City, Utah and Elizabeth M (Lalo) Respicio of Grand Junction, Colorado. His father; Kenneth Hobbs of Grand Junction, Colorado, ex-wife, Barbara Halloran of Minnesota and girlfriend Danella Ferguson, a granddaughter Marielena Montenegro and another grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Hobbs.
