

Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Orchard Mesa Cemetery. Services will follow at 3 p.m. at the Redlands Community Center.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie Clow; one son, Cassidy of Grand Junction; one daughter, Tiffany Henson-Shoemaker of St. Petersburg, Florida; his mother, Betty Bridges of Grand Junction; one brother, Kim of Grand Junction; one sister, Sandie Cooper of Palisade; and two grandchildren.

Rick W. Cooper passed away on February 17, 2016 at HopeWest Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Rick was born to Wilson and Betty (Rothwell) Cooper on October 17, 1953 in LaJunta, Colorado. Rick spent his childhood in Grand Junction and graduated from GJHS and attended Mesa State College. He spent most of his adult life as a craftsman, highly skilled at carpentry, building homes, and floor coverings. Rick loved NASCAR and also enjoyed boating, gold panning, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
Rick is survived by his wife, Carrie Clow; mother, Betty Bridges of Grand Junction, CO; daughter, Tiffany Henson-Shoemaker of St. Petersburg, FL; son, Cassidy Cooper of Grand Junction, CO; brother, Kim Cooper of Grand Junction, CO; sister, Sandie (Dave) Cooper of Palisade, CO; two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, and sister, Shelli L. Cooper.
A graveside service at Orchard Mesa Cemetery is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 23, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 3:00 PM at Redlands Community Center. Memorial contributions may be made to HopeWest Hospice at 3090B North 12th Street, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
