Robert Myron Hooker, age 80, of Grand Junction, CO passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the HopeWest Hospice Care Center. Robert was born on March 12, 1943 in Ely, NV to Elsie Rogers and John Myron Hooker. Robert spent his childhood in Grand Junction where he graduated from Grand Junction High School. On April 28, 1963, he married his beloved wife Linda (Lynn) Hooker in Grand Junction. Throughout his career, Robert worked in sales and in his leisure time, he enjoyed spending time at his Cimarron cabin and the joys of travel, golfing, and boating at Lake Powell.
Robert is survived by his wife, Linda (Lynn) Hooker of Grand Junction, CO; his brother Pat Hooker of Johnstown, CO; and his grandson, Brennan Medill.
Robert was preceded in death by his daughter Lesa Medill; his father John Hooker; his mother Elsie Hudson; and his brother John Hooker.
A celebration of life for Robert will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, Grand Junction, CO 81505.
