Rosa Mae Welker was the first of eight siblings born to Floyd and Grace Dolan, living in Fruita, Colorado (Toots) married her sweetheart, Johnny Welker, on December 25th of 1954. Their union produced 5 children, 14 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Rosa was often heard to say "Our whole life was church and school", this was her joy. This included teaching children's classes, VBS, Pathfinder, and Boy Scouts. Her love for children led her to have a passion for shoe boxes for Kids programs. Many will miss her and look forward to the resurrection day when we will see our loved ones who are at rest.
