Russell was born on January 14th, 1958, in Grand Island, Nebraska to Robert J. and Geraldine P. (Clinton) Lewis.
Russell spent his childhood in Aurora, Colorado and graduated from Aurora Central High School. He was a resident of Westminster, Colorado, before moving to Montrose a year and nine months ago. He worked for the Housing Partners for the City of Boulder.
Russell is survived by his spouse Eliza M. Lewis of Montrose; Mother-in-law Juana Martinez of Thornton, Colorado; daughter, Brigette M. Long of Westminster; brothers Thomas (Ji-Young) Lewis, and Robert Lewis; sisters, Barbara Lewis, and Nancy (Lima) Tagovailoa; and two grandchildren, Daniel J. Dicke of Montrose; and Mia R. Dicke of Aurora.
Russell was preceded in death by Parents Robert J. and Geraldine P. Lewis; and his Father-in-law Jose L. Martinez.
A celebration of life service will take place at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 27, 2023, at the Flatirons Community Church, 2700 S. Downing St, Denver, Colorado 80210.
