

Survivors include her husband, Mike; two sons, Michael of Lithia, Florida, and Troy of Grand Junction; one brother, Jim Jensen of Grand Junction; two sisters, Trish Holmes of Grand Junction and Darry Mead of Littleton; and four grandchildren.

Reta Maxfield
January 18, 1932 - December 21, 2014
Reta (Louthan) Maxfield, 82, passed away at Larchwood Inns, Grand Junction, Colorado on Sunday, December 21, 2014, with her family by her side.
Reta was born on January 18, 1932, to Cora and John Louthan in McDonald, Kansas. She later moved with her family to Rifle, Colorado where she graduated from high school in 1950. She attended Mesa Junior College for a time before moving to Denver where she worked as a secretary.
Reta was married to her high school sweetheart, Clint Maxfield, for 62 years during which time they lived in Boulder, CO, San Francisco, CA, Larel, MD, Glenwood Springs, CO, and then Grand Junction for the last 56 years. They had two children, Greg and Andrea. Reta was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved to knit, golf, garden and boat on Lake Powell.
She is survived by her husband, Clint; daughter, Andrea (Bob) VanGundy of Denver; granddaughter, Heidi (Jonathan) Heath of Parker, and brother, Donald (Edith) Louthan of Silt. She was preceded in death by her son, Greg; brothers, Charles, James, and Leslie Louthan, and both parents.
