Shirley was born July 12, 1936 in Fruita, Colorado to Buford Sylvester Garner and Ruby Bell (Nave) Garner.
She loved quilting with her daughters, family camp trips and traveling with her sisters Jouise and Betty. In her later years she traveled from Colorado to Arizona to spend her winters with her cousin and best friend Cathy Hindman.
Her favorite past time was eating out with her many family members where she truly enjoyed a plate of bisquits and gravey or a really good hamburger.
She is survived by her children Cherie Sturm of Idaho, Ruby Hindman of Arizona, Steve Hindman of Colorado and Brenda Caywood of Colorado. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great grand children.
